Hi, I’m Sara Morrison!
Anti-Inflammatory Dietitian and Mama of three.
I specialize in personalized anti-inflammatory nutrition for people of all ages, helping them heal inflammation, improve digestion, and find lasting relief from chronic symptoms.
Since 2014, I’ve been helping families and individuals overcome symptoms of inflammation, digestive troubles, chronic pain, low energy, or feeding challenges — and who are ready for a clear, compassionate path to real healing.
My Dietitian Journey
Becomin a dietitian was a natural path for me. After leaving my first career as a professional dancer, I became a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist in 2014. I practiced in clinical and public health settings. In 2021 I founded my own private practice because I wanted to work with people of all ages plus bridge the worlds of conventional nutrition science and holistic wellness.
I am based in Northern Nevada (Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Gardnerville/Minden) and I conveniently serve all my clients virtually.
In addition to my work life, I am focused on my children, family, dancing, and my own wellness.

My Approach
When you work with me, you get evidence-based, inclusive, and realistic strategies to enhance your family’s nutrition and wellness. In 2022, I added the Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT) credential to my practice.
I am also currently working towards my Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) – pending 2026.
I use an integrative and functional approach and aim to find what is actually leading to your inflammation and symptoms (the root cause). I primarily use the MRT (Mediator Release Test) and the LEAP protocol. This has led to massive results for my clients in a swift amount of time by supporting them through a highly individualized food and chemical elimination diet. I’ve helped clients reduce IBS symptoms, migraines, chronic pain, overall inflammation, brain fog, and more. This approach helps you know what to include in your diet, not just what to eliminate.
One of my deepest motivations is the legacy I’m creating for my kids. I want to pass down more than recipes. I want to model what it looks like to truly listen to your body, nourish it well, and make health a way of life, not an afterthought.
My Values
I care deeply about living an earth-sustainable lifestyle and I love helping others find their own version of that too. My family’s relationship with food is built on whole foods, movement, and genuine enjoyment. I bring that same grounded, real-life energy to every client I work with.
I’m where the science meets the magic. Evidence-based at my core, with just a wee bit of woo woven in. Because healing is both an art and a science, and the best results happen when you honour both.

Why Work with Me As Your Dietitian?
As a dietitian and a mom, I bring both the science and the lived experience. I know what it’s like to want better health for yourself or your family and not know where to start. I know how to actually get you there.
For me, nutrition and wellness has never been just about food. It’s about sleep, connection, trust, and building a relationship with your body that actually lasts.

A Bit More About Me
I’m a happy wife and hippy-ish mama to three little dragons. My oldest daughter is a cancer survivor. My youngest has been a wild card from the beginning (in all the fun and challenging ways). And my mid-kid son struggled with eczema, frequent tummy troubles, and chronic sinus issues until we tested him with the MRT test and took him through my program!
I’m also a dancer, skier, camper, explorer, lover of the Earth… and the moon.
I love my family, my two pups, beach days, cooking, yoga, surfing, traveling, planting things, watching things grow, epic dance parties, and so much more. My motto is “Love is Life,” and I live it with all my heart.
I am the most positive person I know but also hold space to face and honor the challenges and frustration that come with behavior change. I don’t always tell my clients what they want to hear but they trust me and know I’m always in their corner.
And I celebrate everything… as much as possible. In fact, my clients get REALLY good at celebrating too!
